Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the rose 0.62%.

The best performers of the session on the were Harel (TASE:), which rose 4.77% or 132.00 points to trade at 2,899.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Nova (TASE:) added 4.21% or 2,250.00 points to end at 55,750.00 and Electra Ltd (TASE:) was up 2.62% or 3,590.00 points to 140,430.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:), which fell 2.96% or 340.00 points to trade at 11,150.00 at the close. Ormat Technologies (TASE:) declined 2.22% or 560.00 points to end at 24,620.00 and Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:) was down 1.20% or 910.00 points to 75,200.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 325 to 138 and 74 ended unchanged.

Shares in Nova (TASE:) rose to all time highs; rising 4.21% or 2,250.00 to 55,750.00.

Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.77% or 0.57 to $74.94 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.50% or 0.40 to hit $79.95 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.49% or 9.95 to trade at $2,015.85 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was down 1.10% to 3.71, while EUR/ILS fell 0.57% to 4.04.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.49% at 102.90.
