[ad_1]

Indie four-piece AFTERDRIVE continue to build momentum with their new single Necklace, which follows previously successful releases Cars, Valet and What She Needs. The band are made up of Ben Watts (vocals), Joe Watts (drums), Luke Ellis (lead guitar) and Edward Ruff (bass). They have caught the attention of music fans across the UK as well as publications including Rolling Stone. Culture Fix editor Andrew sat down with Ben and Joe to chat about Necklace, the band’s growing popularity, and what fans can expect from their headline show at The Waterfront in Norwich.

In our conversation, the pair opened up about the evolution of Necklace and the band’s developing sound, along with the secrets to crafting an anthemic musical hook. Ben and Joe reflected on the band’s creative chemistry and off-stage friendships, elements that will undoubtedly support the fast-rising momentum they are enjoying.

The interview explores the band’s origin story and their shift from casual jamming to becoming a committed group that would go on to support Ed Sheeran at Portman Road Stadium in July. Discussing the highs of that experience, Ben and Joe also delve into preparing for their own headline show next January.

With a new EP in the works and an increasingly distinctive visual identity forming around them, AFTERDRIVE have plenty to say about where they are headed next. You can find out more about the band in the video interview above.
