Icelandair has finalized a purchase agreement for 13 Airbus A321XLR aircraft with the option to buy up to 12 additional planes, the carrier announced Friday. Deliveries are expected to begin in 2029. In addition, Icelandair has finalized a long-term lease agreement for four new A321LR aircraft to be delivered during the fourth quarter of 2024.
