A DOG owner has revealed her beloved pet returned from a trip to the groomers looking like Pennywise the Clown.
The owner took the doodle to the groomers expecting it to return to them “soft and fluffy” but was instead left horrified by the result.

But the poor pooch was left with the alarming hair style after it had to be shaven down to the skin due to extreme matting.
After posting the picture on Reddit, the dog owner faced something of a backlash with people accusing them of being responsible by failing to brush their pet.
“I have a doodle. He needs to be brushed every day or even my fingers run through his matting spots (back legs, underarms) otherwise it is a nightmare,” wrote one user.
Pennywise the Dancing Clown is the villain who haunts a small American town in the recently-released big screen version of the Stephen King book, It.
It comes after another animal lover was left horrified after her beloved dog was given an awful haircut that made it look like a raw chicken.
TikTok user Sarah posted a video about the hilarious mishap, giving a before and after view of her Goldendoodle, Scout.
The pet owner joked that Scout came back from the groomer looking like “a new dog“.
In the video, the pooch can be seen having fun in the sun with his natural curly coat, which then transitions into a brief clip of how he looked after his latest groom.
Sarah said: “This was his previous haircut and I want the same cut.”
However, she most certainly did not get it as the pup came back looking like a different dog altogether.
Meanwhile, a woman who took the family dog to the groomer says her children no longer recognise him.
The TikTok user took her Goldendoodle for a trim and was shocked when he came back a “totally different dog”.
