The missing man, Alejandro Cisneros, 39, left his residence in West Sacramento in the early hours of June 26, 2024, with unknown subjects in a newer model black pick-up, according to the West Sacramento Police Department.

Since then, police said Cisneros had no contact with family and was without needed medication. On Tuesday, law enforcement announced that the human remains belonged to Cisneros. According to the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office, Cisneros was murdered.

Law enforcement said his case status has been updated from a missing person report to a homicide investigation. So far, no arrests have been made.
