You’re not wrong — it does seem early for the Emmys, but it’s actually 4 months late due to the writers’ and actors’ strikes in 2023.

While TV fans may have some trouble remembering some of the shows nominated for the ceremony — the eligibility window stretches back to June 2022 — we’ve got you covered when it comes to remembering when and where to watch:

What time are the Emmys?

The Emmys are set to begin Jan. 15 at 8 p.m. ET. The three-hour ceremony will be broadcast live from the Peacock Theater, a modern 7,100-seat venue in downtown Los Angeles.

Those looking to scope out the fashions and catch off-the-cuff comments can tune in for red carpet coverage from 5-8 p.m.

Where can I watch the Emmys?

Fox is broadcasting the ceremony, which will land on Hulu on the following day. Cable subscribers can also watch online through Fox.com and log in with their cable subscriber credentials.

If you are a cord-cutter, you will need an internet-based cable TV streaming service that carries Fox, such as DirecTV, Fubo, Hulu + Live TV or Sling.

The “Countdown to the Emmys” red carpet coverage airs on E!, which will also feature an “Emmys After Party” special at 11 p.m.
