Five people are without a home after an outdoor grill caused a house fire, according to crews with the Winston-Salem Fire Department.
Fire officials said the call came just after 6:15 p.m., and crews responded to the 1000 block of Barry Oak Court in Kernersville.
Officials said the fire from the outdoor grill extended to the home.
The Kernersville Fire Department also assisted.
No one was injured in the fire.
