Homeless man charged with groping three women in Queens; NYPD looking for more victims

A homeless man was busted for sexually abusing three women in Queens, police said Thursday, as they look for others that may have been victimized.

Zhongbo Xu, 24, was charged Monday with sex abuse, forcible touching, assault and harassment. He was ordered held without bail and is undergoing a psychiatric evaluation.

Police said all three incidents happened in Flushing, beginning 5 p.m. last Saturday when he followed an 18-year-old into the elevator in her building and grabbed her buttocks and breast.

On Monday, police said, he struck two more times.

At 7:10 a.m., while a 19-year-old waited for her order inside the McDonald’s on Main St. near 40th Road, he kissed her, grabbed her buttocks and pushed her to the ground, police said.

But the victim fought back and Xu ran off, only to strike again an hour later less than a mile away, at Farrington St. and 33rd Ave., police said.

At that location, he allegedly confronted a 30-year-old woman on the street, covered her mouth and told her “Don’t scream.” He then grabbed her breasts and crotch. Police said he then pushed the woman into a fence before running off.

Anyone with information about the suspect or other incidents is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
