There’s a new band in the metalcore scene, and it comes with a solid pedigree. Hillhaven is comprised of former Ice Nine Kills guitarist Chris Kelly on vocals (who also had a tenure with Galactic Empire and is rumored to have appeared on stage with Babymetal), Maty Madiro (From Ashes to New) on drums, Ricky Armellino (Ice Nine Kills) on guitars, Jimmy Bennett (From Ashes to New) on guitars, and Jaime GoWell on bass.

Chris Kelly describes Hillhaven as “two and a half years’ life experience distilled into a single body of work and bolstered by four monster-level players.” He adds, “We’ve all been in this business for a long time, and releasing something new, outside of what we’re all typically known for, is both exciting and nerve-racking.”

Seems the band has meticulously planned their releases for the year, and their debut single/music video “Damned To Dream” serves as a thrilling introduction. Kelly states, “It’s loud, it’s real, it’s energetic, it’s the perfect taste of what’s to come, and we’re all really looking forward to seeing how listeners respond to it.”
