Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde are no longer headed in one direction.
The English pop music heartthrob and his actress/director girlfriend have reportedly broken up after their near-two-year relationship.
Sources close to the couple revealed to People that they were “taking a break.”
“He’s still touring and is now going abroad. She is focusing on her kids and her work in L.A.,” an insider told the outlet in a story published Friday, adding that it’s “a very amicable decision.”
“Right now, they have different priorities that are keeping them apart,” another unidentified person commented.
The couple never publicly confirmed their relationship but were photographed kissing on a yacht in Italy in July 2021, and holding hands during several outings.
Wilde, who directed the former One Direction frontman in the recently released film “Don’t Worry Darling,” was previously engaged to “Ted Lasso” star Jason Sudeikis. The former couple’s messy custody drama over children Otis, 8, and Daisy, 5, played out publicly.
For her coupling with Styles, 28, Wilde preferred a more low-profile approach.
“I think once you crack open the window, you can’t then be mad when mosquitos come in,” the 38-year-old New York City native explained in an October Vanity Fair cover story.
In the same article, Wilde shot down rumors that Styles was behind her breakup with Sudeikis: “The complete horses–t idea that I left Jason for Harry is completely inaccurate.”
Reps for the couple did not respond to requests for comment.
