After a stabbing incident at a Great Falls, Montana casino, a person is currently facing a charge for his alleged involvement. The crime dates back to earlier this month when a man identified with the initials T.L.J. allegedly assaulted an unnamed man outside of Ike & Susan’s Lounge & Casino in Great Falls.

The suspect who was arrested is facing a charge of assault with a weapon, as announced by the local news outlet, Montana Right Now. During his first court appearance back on March 18, a judge ruled that there was probable cause for the suspect to have committed the crime. The person’s bond was set at $10,000 with a stipulation of no contact provision within a 1,500-foot radius.

Currently, Montana’s laws designate assault with a weapon as a felony. If a person is convicted of assault with a weapon, they can be subject to imprisonment of up to 20 years, a fine of up to $50,000 or in some cases, both.

Still, it is important to mention that the charges against the suspect are yet to be proven in a court of law. Prior to that happening, charges are nothing more than allegations which means that the person remains innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.

The Victim Was Stabbed Multiple Times

The incident outside the Ike & Susan’s Lounge & Casino happened during the early morning hours on March 18, 2024. At the time, a police officer with the Great Falls Police Department responded to a call about a person who was stabbed. Upon arrival at the scene, the suspect was seen leaving the area on foot.

Upon investigating the scene of the crime, law enforcement saw the suspect return and approach the officer who responded to the incident. Then, the suspect reportedly said, “it was me, I did it.” Subsequently, the person was arrested and has undergone a recorded interview at the Great Falls Police Department.

Recalling the story, the alleged attacker said that he visited the bar together with the victim. The attacker claimed that the victim exited his car which was parked outside of the casino and then proceeded to hit him on the head. After that, the suspect took out a knife from one of his pockets and stabbed the victim multiple times.

The victim was rushed to the hospital with a number of stab wounds to the abdomen and one of his arms. Currently, it remains unclear what is the condition of the victim and whether or not they are still in hospital.
