Germany HCOB Manufacturing PMI was revised slightly higher to 44.5 in April of 2023 from an initial 44, but continued to point to the worst performance for the manufacturing sector since May of 2020.

It also marks the tenth consecutive month of contraction in the factory sector, mainly due to suppliers’ delivery time which hit a record high for a third time.

Services PMI increased to 57.80 points in May from 56 points in April of 2023.

Composite PMI increased to 54.30 points in May from 54.20 points in April of 2023.
