Factory orders in Germany increased 3.9% in August over the previous month, beating consensus of 1.8%.
Biggest upward contribution came from the manufacture of computer, electronic and optical products sector which soared 37.9%, namely orders of electronic components for both the domestic and the foreign market.
Foreign orders meanwhile were up 3.9% and domestic ones rose by 4%.
