Gary Rome and MiraVista celebrate nurses with free car wash event

HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) – In honor of Nurse Appreciation Day, Gary Rome Hyundai partnered with MiraVista Behavioral Health Center to host a free car wash event for nurses.

The event took place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., offering nurses not only a complimentary car wash but also a $10 gift card for new scrubs, air fresheners, and other treats to brighten their day.

Kimberly Lee, Creative Director for Development at Miravista, emphasized the importance of recognizing healthcare workers, stating, “Our healthcare workers work so incredibly hard, and at times, it can be a thankless job. We wanted to be sure from MiraVista and Gary Rome that we took a day, a beautiful day, to thank them and make sure they felt recognized for the life-saving work that they do.”

As of 1 p.m., 54 nurses had taken advantage of the free car wash. The event successfully acknowledged the hard work of nurses, providing them with small tokens of appreciation for their dedication and service.
