The tour announcement comes after the award-winning duo recently dropped two collaborative albums back to back, “We Don’t Trust You” and “We Still Don’t Trust You.”

PORTLAND, Oregon — Award-winning collaborators artist Future and producer Metro Boomin will be blazing up stages across the country this summer.

The collaborate duo took to their socials on Tuesday to announce their “We Trust You Tour” after Live Nation announced the upcoming tour dates and locations

This comes after the rapper-producer duo recently dropped two collaborative albums back to back, “We Don’t Trust You” back in March, and the sequel, “We Still Don’t Trust You,” released on April 12.  The albums sparked explosive reaction in the music industry with atomic features, such as Kendrick Lamar,  J. Cole and The Weeknd, just to name a few.

The 27-date tour is set to kick off on July 30 in Kansas City, Mo., although openers and supporting acts have not yet been announced. The “Like That” musicians will be blazing the Moda Center stage on Sept. 7 at 8 p.m.

Future, also nicknamed as “Future Hendrix” or “PLUTO,” is an American rapper and singer from Atlanta, Georgia, who skyrocketed to musical fame in 2011 after gaining popularity in Atlanta, thanks to DJ Esco who would play his songs at popular strip club Magic City. His collaborative mixtape with rap superstar Drake, “What A Time To Bee Alive” propelled him to international stardom. Future is known for his use of auto-tune and socially recognized as the ‘Toxic King’ as an emblem for toxic boyfriends and manipulative exes.

Metro Boomin is an American producer from St. Louis, Missouri. Based in Atlanta, Georgia, he came to fame in 2016 when he was credited for producing back-to-back hits, such as “Jumpman” by Future and Drake, “Bad and Boujee” by Migos, “Low Life” by Future and The Weeknd, and the 21 Savage collaboration “X.” Later that year, he contributed to Ye‘s — formerly known as Kanye West — “The Life of Pablo” album; he also released the EP “Savage Mode” in collaboration with 21 Savage. Metro is recognized for his trap sub-genre of hip hop, and his music is described as gothic melodies with dark, rattling synthetic percussion with a heavy combination of bass.
