Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts has named Rainer Stampfer, formerly its president of Asia-Pacific hotel operations, its president of global operations for hotels and resorts effective immediately, the company announced. 

Stampfer succeeds Christian Clerc, who departed the company in November 2022. 

In the new role, Stampfer joins the Four Seasons executive leadership team and reports to president and CEO Alejandro Reynal, according to the company. Stampfer joined Four Seasons in 2001 and held his previous position since 2016. 

Rami Sayess, who has been with the company for 18 years, will fill Stampfer’s previous role president of Asia-Pacific hotel operations, effective March 2023.
