The Columbus County Fire Marshal says four children are dead after an early morning house fire.
The children were 2, 4, 6, and 7 years old according to the fire marshal. No adults were home at the time of the fire.
The fire happened on North Colony Road near Chadbourn. Crews were called to scene at 2:32 a.m.
There has been no word on identities or a potential cause.
