(FOX40.COM) — The Folsom Police Department arrested a man on Saturday for allegedly brandishing a firearm at juveniles.

Officers responded to the Chevron located at East Bidwell Street and White Rock Road and quickly detained 52-year-old Jacob Gelegan. Police said he had reportedly been brandishing a handgun during an altercation with a group of juveniles.
The suspect possessed a handgun that was not registered, according to FPD.
Gelegan faces charges for brandishing a firearm in a threatening manner, carrying a concealed weapon and carrying a loaded firearm while not being the registered owner.
