(KRON) — The San Francisco Police Department said a suspect was arrested after an argument led to a shooting in the city’s Tenderloin District Wednesday night.

SFPD said its officers responded at 7:57 p.m. in the 100 block of Eddy Street to investigate a report of a shooting.
“Officers arrived on scene and met with two victims,” said SFPD in a statement to KRON4. “Officers were advised that a verbal confrontation occurred that turned into a physical altercation. The suspect brandished a firearm and shot towards a victim. The suspect then fled the scene.”
There were no injuries reported, according to San Francisco police.
Police said the suspect was soon located in the area of Cyril Magnin and Eddy streets and a firearm was recovered.
Police are not yet releasing the suspect’s identity and potential charges.
