Final weekend of The Big E in West Springfield

WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – The Big E, the fourth-largest fair in North America, is entering its final weekend, offering a packed schedule of performances and events.

Visitors to the fair can enjoy a variety of musical acts, including The Kid Laroi Friday at 7:30 p.m., Train on Saturday, and ZZ Top on Sunday, all performing at the Big E Arena. Queensryche will also perform on Sunday at the Court of Honor Stage.

On Friday, the Big E celebrates Harvest New England Day, highlighting the region’s agriculture with events such as horse shows and fresh produce displays.

Saturday is Hooplandia Day, honoring the region’s largest 3v3 basketball tournament held in Springfield.

The fair will conclude on Sunday with Special Olympics Day, welcoming athletes from around the world to the fairgrounds.

When do the buildings and Midway open?

Admission Prices

The 2025 regular-price admission tickets are $20 for adults, $16 for seniors, and $12 for children ages 6 through 12, kids under 5 are free. If you plan to go to The Big E multiple times, there is a value pass option that gets you in daily during the 17 days of the fair for $71.50 per adult and $36.50 for children ages 6 through 12.

For $33.50, you can also get one wristband that includes unlimited rides at the Midway on the day you visit, Monday through Friday, or 78 credits on Saturday or Sunday.

How much does parking cost?

If you plan to park on the Big E fairgrounds, all main parking will be found at Gate 9, which is the first gate on Memorial Avenue if you are coming from the east (from Springfield, Route 5, I-91, etc.) and the last gate if coming from the west (Agawam). It is cash-only parking, and there are no ATMs near the gate, so you will have to have $10 on hand to park. Motorcycles can park for $5 at Gate 9.
