Are we dreaming? We got to spend our night at 5 Seconds of Summer’s Official Lollapalooza Aftershow! We have all the buzz and photos from CLUBSOS!
5 Seconds of Summer is an Australian boyband featuring members Calum Hood (Bass/Vocals), Ashton Irwin (Drums/Vocals), Michael Clifford (Guitar/Vocals), and Luke Hemmings (Guitar/Vocals). The bands most recent album EVERYONE’S A STAR features breakout hits ‘NOT OK’, ‘Boyband’, and ‘No. 1 Obsession’. After the announcement that this would be different than any other 5SOS show just a day before the Aftershow, we were anticipating the outcome of this one-night-only CLUBSOS show!
ELEPHANT HEART
Opening for 5SOS, Elephant Heart took the stage with high energy electronic/dance sounds. This duo consists of Jason Evigan and Victoria Evigan, who started this project after celebrating their 5th wedding anniversary back in 2016! This was our first time seeing Elephant Heart and it definitely won’t be our last!
5 SECONDS OF SUMMER
CLUBSOS has been one of our most highly anticipated Lollapalooza Aftershows of the weekend and we were so excited to see what was in store for us this night! First starting the night off strong, 5SOS remixed ‘Everyone’s A Star!‘ with Michael and Calum behind the DJ board, while Luke and Ashton came to the front of the stage.
We absolutely loved the vibes that tonight brought. Later on, one of our favorite moments was when BBNO$ came onstage as a special guest to perform ‘1-800’! We also got mixes with our favorite artists such as ‘Good Girls’ and ‘Internet Girl’ by KATSEYE, ‘Valentine’ and ‘SILK SCARF’ by Tiga and Fcukers, and Slayyyter’s ‘BEAT UP CHANEL$’.
In conclusion, we all know that 5 Seconds of Summer can keep the crowd energized, but it was great to see 5SOS dabble into this genre and see the hard work that they put into this one-night-only event for their fans. We danced and danced until the set came to an end.
