Erika Kirk to give first TV interview since husband’s assassination

Erika is slated to discuss her husband’s death and the future of Turning Point USA after taking the reins as CEO.

WASHINGTON — Erika Kirk, the widow of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, will give her first TV interview since her husband’s assassination to Fox News, according to multiple media outlets.

The interview, which will air on Sunday, Nov. 5 at 8 p.m. ET, will be with Fox News’ Jesse Watters. Erika is slated to discuss her husband’s death and the future of Turning Point USA after taking the reins as CEO.

According to Deadline, Fox News is expected to make the formal announcement on Monday.

Charlie Kirk was fatally shot on Sept. 10 during a Turning Point USA event at Utah Valley University. A suspect was arrested following a two-day manhunt after the shooting.

Earlier this month, the late conservative activist was posthumously awarded the Medal of Freedom by President Donald Trump. Erika accepted the award, America’s highest civilian honor, on what would have been Charlie’s 32nd birthday.

Watters will join Erika at Turning Point’s headquarters in Phoenix, Arizona, as well as at a “This is the Turning Point” tour stop at the University of Mississippi on Wednesday. Vice President JD Vance will also attend the event in Oxford, Mississippi.

According to Deadline, Vance will be debating and answering questions from students throughout the night in a similar style to Charlie. The event will be live-streamed on Fox Nation, Fox News’s streaming service.

“This is the Turning Point Tour” replaces the “American Comeback Tour,” which was the organization’s fall college speaking program. Charlie died during the tour’s first stop in Utah.

Variety reports that Fox Nation will also air a multi-part documentary series on Nov. 7 about Turning Point’s tour, with behind-the-scenes footage of Erika.
