Enfield police seek information on hit-and-run incident at Yarde Tavern

ENFIELD, CT (WWLP) – Authorities are seeking the public’s assistance following a hit-and-run motor vehicle collision in the parking lot of The Yarde Tavern on Friday, September 27.

According to Enfield Police, the suspect vehicle struck a Toyota Highlander, pushing it sideways into another parked car, causing extensive damage to both vehicles. After the collision, the driver of the suspect vehicle drove away.

Vehicle parts left at the scene indicate the evading vehicle is likely a 2015 or 2016 Honda CR-V. The suspect vehicle is expected to have front-end damage on the passenger side, particularly around the fog light and headlight areas. Authorities are still working to determine the vehicle’s color.

Police are asking anyone with information regarding this incident to contact Officer J. Peterson via email at [email protected].

No injuries have been reported, and the investigation is ongoing.
