Netflix’s adaptation of Lady Chatterley’s Lover is out now and depicts the narrative of a forbidden love affair that takes place in a strict society. The movie was directed by Laure de Clermont-Tonnerre and stars Emma Corrin as Lady Constance. It tells the story of Connie’s transformation into Lady Chatterley after she marries Sir Clifford, portrayed in the film by Matthew Duckett.

Lady Constance has an affair with Oliver Mellors, played by Jack O’Connell, after her husband returns from the First World War with injuries that have rendered him unable to walk. Connie is forced to make a choice: she can go after the man she loves, or she may marry her husband and fit in with Edwardian society.
Lady Chatterley’s Lover, which takes place in 1920s England, has some absolutely stunning clothing selected by costume designer Emma Fryer. The assortment of styles includes luxurious fabrics such as lace as well as draped dresses. Even though it is a tribute to the fashion of the 1920s, many of the designs have a contemporary feel to them.
In fact, Fryer even selected some pieces from modern brands to incorporate. Emma Corrin is not only displaying fashion but can also be seen fronting the Miu Miu fall 2022 campaign.
