SCOTIA, N.Y. (NEWS10) — A man is facing DWI charges after a crash early Friday morning in Scotia.
Officers said Dominic Poggoli was going 100 MPH in a 30 MPH zone and nearly hit a patrol car. They said his 2023 Mercedes launched over an embankment, flew across four lanes of traffic, and landed upside down on Cuthbert Street near North Ballston Avenue.
Police broke a window to pull him out. Poggoli suffered minor injuries and was taken to Albany Medical Center.
He was issued appearance tickets.
