IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. – A man was arrested in Iredell County with 25 outstanding felony charges that were related to selling narcotics in Gaston County, according to a news release.

The release states that on April 8, 2024, an Iredell County Sheriff’s Office deputy located and arrested Boris Cunningham, 45, who had 25 outstanding felony charges.

The charges include:

  • 18 counts of felony trafficking opium or heroin
  • Four counts of felony possession of schedule II substance
  • Four counts of felony sell or deliver a schedule II substance
  • Three counts of felony maintaining a dwelling for the sale of a controlled substance
  • Two counts of felony possession of a schedule I substance
  • Felony possession with intent to sell or deliver a schedule I controlled substance
  • Felony possession of methamphetamine
  • Misdemeanor possession of marijuana
  • Misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Misdemeanor possession of marijuana paraphernalia

Deputies also say that Cunningham was found in possession of fentanyl, MDMA (ecstasy) and methamphetamine during his arrest in a manner that implied they were going to be sold.

After receiving a search warrant for Cunningham’s residence, deputies say they located fentanyl, MDMA, methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
