Denver weather: Near-record heat Tuesday

DENVER (KDVR) — After a cool, cloudy start to the week, more sunshine and above-normal temperatures will move into Denver’s weather forecast, with near-record heat on Tuesday.

Weather tonight: Mainly clear

Monday night will stay mainly clear and cool. Low temperatures will fall to the mid-30s, which is about five degrees below normal for this time of year.

Weather tomorrow: Near record high temperatures

Sunny and warm conditions return on Tuesday. High temperatures will climb to the mid-70s, which is just below the daily record of 77 degrees set in 2020.

Looking ahead: Cooler, staying sunny & dry

Sunny and warm conditions continue on Wednesday. High temperatures will reach around 70 degrees, which is almost 15 degrees below normal, but still below the daily record of 78 degrees set in 2023.

Thursday, another system will move through Colorado, giving the northern mountains a chance for some light snow showers and cooler and breezy conditions for the metro.

High temperatures will reach the mid-60s before falling to the 50s with wind gusts around 30 mph for Thursday Night Football.

Friday will be sunny and a little breezy with cooler temperatures only reaching the mid-60s. Another system will come through this weekend, giving the northern mountains a brief chance for a few showers, but it will stay dry and drop temperatures toward more seasonal levels in the 50s for the metro.
