Amelia DeLuca

Amelia DeLuca will return to Delta Air Lines’ global sustainability team as chief sustainability officer, effective Aug. 1, the carrier announced Wednesday. She will replace Pam Fletcher, who the airline said plans to leave the company.

DeLuca previously had served as VP of sustainability and currently leads “cross-division efforts for alliances to deliver a consistent premium customer experience across Delta’s partners,” according to the carrier. “She also supports development of Delta’s partner sustainability strategy.”

Fletcher, who previously worked at General Motors, had taken on the chief sustainability officer role in February 2022. Delta has committed to achieving net zero emissions by 2050.
