Delta Air Lines has increased its frequencies on service between Atlanta and each Buenos Aires and Santiago, Chile, the carrier announced last week. Buenos Aires service increased to daily from five times weekly on Oct. 26. Santiago service had been three times weekly, but as of Oct. 29 operates daily.

The Atlanta-Buenos Aires flights use 238-seat Boeing 767-400ER aircraft offering four classes of service: Delta One, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort Plus and Main Cabin, according to the carrier. The Santiago route operates with Airbus A350-900 aircraft with capacity for 339 passengers in three classes: Delta One, Delta Comfort Plus and Main Cabin.

Delta and South American-based carrier Latam received joint venture approval from the U.S. Department of Transportation in September, which will allow passengers access to more than 300 destinations between the U.S. and Canada and South America.
