GRASS VALLEY, Calif. — A death investigation is underway in Grass Valley, according to police.
The investigation was launched after the body of a white man, believed to be in his 30s, was found a little after 7:00 a.m. near a temporary skate park within Condon Park, the city’s police department said.
Police said the man’s identity is still being determined and will be released once his next of kin have been notified.
The circumstances surrounding the man’s death are unknown, as the department has requested help from the FBI Evidence Response Team for the investigation.
The area of the park will remain closed until all evidence has been collected, police said.
