Sunday morning we’ll see a few light showers with drier and sunny conditions in the afternoon.

PORTLAND, Oregon — Sunday is going to start off with a few light showers, and by the afternoon we’ll see mainly dry conditions with a mix of clouds and sunshine. Daytime highs will be average for early November,  with temperatures in the upper 50s.

We’ll see our next system arrive by early Monday morning that will bring periods of showers through the day to start off the work week.

Snow will keep falling in the Cascades, especially Saturday night. By Sunday morning the ski areas on Mt Hood will have picked up another 5 to 8 inches of snow above 4,500 feet.

A winter weather advisory is in effect for Saturday night through early Sunday morning 4,500 feet and higher.

Don’t forget to turn the clocks back, Pacific Standard Time returns Sunday morning, and check the smoke alarms too!
