Say goodbye to toxic ex-partners and hello to “In the Cold.”

Ahead of their performances at SLANDER’s “A Better World” show at the Los Angeles Convention Center, Dabin and EDM.com Class of 2021 star William Black have joined forces for the second time with a melodic bass single that explores the empowerment associated with leaving an unhealthy relationship.

Previously working together on “Ready,” Dabin and Black showcase a different dimension of their collaborative talents with “In the Cold.” Teaming up with James Droll, the track combines uplifting melodies with emotionally rich vocals to mirror the journey from heartbreak to liberation.

The track is a perfect fusion of both artists’ signature sounds—Dabin’s acoustic elements and dance-pop inspiration and Black’s uplifting melodies and future bass drops. With its evocative blend of melodic sound design and soul-stirring lyrics, “In the Cold” is a testament to the duo’s ability to craft a new narrative while staying true to their stylistic elements.

Both Dabin and Black have had a big year. Dabin just finished his “Sanctuary” tour, becoming the first Korean electronic music act to headline a concert at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre, while Black is getting ready to release his third album.
