This crock pot chicken and gravy is such a great recipe for a busy weeknight meal.  Just throw it in the pot and let it cook.  This chicken is wonderful served over mashed potatoes, rice or any kind of pasta.  It is even good over biscuits.  You could cut this recipe in half and it keeps well for several days in the refrigerator.  It makes a lot but you can serve it over rice one night and mashed potatoes or biscuits the next. This dish goes great with cranberry sauce and stuffing. It would be wonderful for a holiday meal. It freezes well, too.  We love any kind of crock pot meal.  You might also like our recipe for crock pot beef tips and gravy.  These two recipes are definitely two of our favorite crock pot meals.

Crock pot chicken and gravy is one you will make often. Ingredients needed:

3 to 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Package dry onion soup mix

Can cream of chicken soup, undiluted

Can chicken broth

Water

Black pepper

All-purpose flour

Garlic powder

Poultry seasoning (our recipe for poultry seasoning if you want to make your own)

I did not add salt to this recipe since the onion soup mix and the canned chicken soup both have salt.  You can add more if you like.

This recipe is one of our most popular and so many of you love it as much as we do! Definitely delicious comfort food dish. Check out this wonderful recipe feedback:

“I have to tell you that ALL your recipes so far have been fabulous! You must have the same tastes as we do (ha, ha). They are not complicated and taste fantastic. Thank you so much for posting these — we have had a different one each night for the past two weeks! Keep them coming!!!” – Judy

“This recipe is absolutely delicious! Just mix everything together and you have a wonderful meal. Just follow the recipe. I added one teaspoon of Herb de Provence. It is my go to spice for everything. I served this over homemade mashed potatoes. Add a couple sides. This is a keeper. My husband loved it.” – Marsha

“I made this tonight. Served with mashed potatoes & stuffing. I used frozen chicken breasts and cooked on low for7 hours. Everyone loved it, even the kids. Very easy too!” – Rebecca

“I made this for dinner last night and served it over brown rice. We had leftovers tonight and I served it over mashed potatoes. It was delicious on both counts! I will definitely be making it again!” – Karen
