The Metropolitan Opera announced that it will partner with the Saudi Music Commission. The move comes as the opera house is facing a major financial strain after withdrawing over $100,000 million from its endowment in the last few years. NBC News’ Chloe Melas spoke with Met General Manager Peter Gelb about the controversial deal.
