DENVER (KDVR) — Crews are on the scene of two water main breaks in Douglas County on Sunday afternoon, according to a post on X from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.
Douglas County sheriff’s deputies and Community Safety Volunteers are at the scenes assisting with traffic control.
The first break is located at Dad Clark Drive and South Broadway.
In June, there was a water main break near the same area, though it was not stated if the two are related to one another.
The second is near Snowbrush Lane and Arrowhead Road.
South Metro Fire Rescue and the water district are attempting to fix the breaks.
The sheriff’s office advises drivers to use alternate routes and, if they are in the area, to drive cautiously.
