Crews battling fire near Avenue C in Channelview, SkyEye shows

CHANNELVIEW, Texas (KTRK) — Firefighters are working to put out a large fire in the Channelview area on Monday morning.

SkyEye flew over the massive flames along Avenue C just after 6 a.m., where several emergency vehicles could be seen responding. It appears firefighters were able to get a handle on the fire a few minutes later, as only white smoke was visible.

It’s unclear at this point if anyone has been injured or what led to the fire.
