If you are a fan of Magnolia Bakery and happen to be a membership holder at your local Costco, then you’re in store for an absolute treat. Launching this month in Costco stores across the country, Magnolia Bakery is releasing a box of individually-wrapped soft baked cookies which are inspired by the bakery’s famous banana pudding.

Earlier this year, Magnolia Bakery shared a sneak peek of their pre-packaged Banana Pudding Cookies, which featured three different varieties all containing the world-famous banana pudding as one of the base ingredients: Classic Vanilla, Confetti, and Chocolate Chunk.

So what can you expect out of the boxes available at Costco? Each package will come with nine packages of  Classic Vanilla and Confetti cookies each — both of which feature white chocolate chips and decadent banana notes. Although the price may vary depending on location, the average price should rest around $16.99 per box. There’s a smaller quantity on Amazon, or if you’re just looking for the classic Banana Pudding Cookies, you’ll find them on Magnolia Bakery’s site directly.

In an interview with QSR Magazine, Magnolia Bakery’s Chief Executive Officer stated that “Magnolia Bakery’s World-Famous Banana Pudding is one of the most recognized and iconic desserts in the U.S., known for the delicious combination of real bananas, creamy vanilla pudding, and vanilla wafers.” He continued, “I knew translating these famous flavors into our new soft-baked cookie for grocery-made with real butter, bananas, and chocolate — would result in an innovative new product for shoppers nationwide to try while being instantly recognizable as uniquely from Magnolia Bakery.”

Originally being thrust into fame due to an appearance on an episode of Sex and the City in 2000, the bakery has since been one of the top go-to spots in New York City for cupcakes. And while their cupcake business is still very much booming, you can’t blame them for finding new ways to continue to serve their customers, as well as introduce their name to new ones in the process. And what better way than through the nostalgia of banana pudding and soft-baked cookies? I can’t think of one!
