Original Slipknot vocalist Anders Colsefni recently announced he’ll be performing the band’s 1997 demo album Mate. Feed. Kill. Repeat. on an upcoming Australian and New Zealand tour. So how does current Slipknot vocalist Corey Taylor feel about that? He’s into it.

In a tweet, Taylor said he’d love to go the shows but unfortunately can’t. “Really wish I could be there to see these shows, but I know Anders Colsefni is going to crush them.”

Mate. Feed. Kill. Repeat. is a far cry from Slipknot‘s Taylor-era material, and whose lineup only features one current member of the band. Mate. Feed. Kill. Repeat. was Colsefni, guitarists Donnie Steele and Josh Brainard, current percussionist Shawn “Clown” Crahan, bassist Paul Gray, and Joey Jordison.

While finding an official copy of Mate. Feed. Kill. Repeat. is damn near impossible these days, there are plenty of uploads and bootlegs floating around. It’s wild.

Catch Colsefni on tour at one of the dates below.
