Cooler Wednesday

PORTLAND, Oregon — The western valleys reached 80-degrees Tuesday, but cooler air moved in Tuesday night as a weak weather system moved through.

But the clouds clear Wednesday morning for another mostly sunny, but cooler day. Highs will be in the upper 60s.

We’re back in the 70s Thursday with more October sunshine.

Our first rainfall of the month comes Friday. The western valleys will see between a quarter and a half-inch of rain. But it’s a one-day rainfall.

We’re back to sunny, warm weather with highs in the 70s the first weekend of October.
