For Less Friday: Comfortable Summer Essentials
Staying comfy and cozy during the fall and winter months seems like a no-brainer. There are plenty of billowy sweatshirts and thick sweatpants to snuggle into when it’s freezing outside. But as summer heats up, the need to be comfortable and cool becomes a top priority. These 2 favorites check all the boxes…lightweight, soft, cooling fabric, and great quality. Vuori Performance Joggers
Erin first tried her Vuori joggers a couple of years ago and has been a huge fan since. In addition, several Team Busbee members have jumped on the Vuori train. While we’re all different heights and body types…we are all SUCH huge fans of the Performance Joggers in particular. In fact, during a recent team call, several of us confessed they were our favorite “work from home” pants. You can be “Zoom Meeting Ready” on the top and extra comfortable on the bottom😉
The first thing we want to highlight about these joggers and why they stand out from other brands…the fabric. It’s not heavy at all, and it’s incredibly soft. So, this makes them perfect year-round joggers and ideal lightweight summer pants. In fact, if you do live in a cold climate these would probably be too thin for really cold months. They wash well, they don’t pill, and they definitely don’t stretch and sag after wearing them even all day. Really….ALL day. These joggers have a drawstring waist and pockets. The length is cropped so it’s ankle length on Erin at 5’4”.
They are definitely not fitted, but also not baggy. We’d say they have more of a relaxed fit and we recommend ordering your regular size. Erin’s wearing the Black Heather and just a note that the Charcoal Heather is just a bit darker in person than it looks online. They come in 8 colors! There’s a matching zip-up hoodie made of the same dreamy fabric if you’re on the hunt for a comfortable and lightweight matching set.
Moonlight Eco Pajamas
Erin’s next top cooling yet cozy summer essential is these Moonlight Pajamas. Erin owns several pairs and they’ve also been a Team Busbee favorite for years! You think, how great could they be…they’re just PJs?!?! But they are SO good. They do have a cooling effect on the skin so if you run hot at night or have the dreaded menopausal night sweats, these are very comforting. The style Erin is wearing has an 11’ rise and a cropped 28” inseam. They run true to size. The fabric feels fluid and almost silky…it’s a mix of Tencel Cotton and Spandex. Even after several (and we mean several) washings, they still look like new.
