Charlotte Chinese Story Time is presenting Children’s Lunar New Year Showcase on Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 2 to 5 p.m., at Fullwood Theater, 100 E McDowell Street, Matthews, North Carolina.

This event is free, family-friendly and open to the public. Please register.

Ring in the Year of the Horse with a celebration of culture, creativity, and community.

A spectacular lineup featuring a wide range of Asian cultural performances, including:

  • Chinese folk & classical dances
  • Youth instrumental ensemble
  • K-pop & Chinese drum fusion
  • Vocal & instrumental performances
  • Children’s poetry recitation
  • Chinese comic dialogue (Xiangsheng)
  • Traditional Cambodian Robum dance
