Six Of Florida’s 19 New Additions To The Michelin Guide Are In Tampa
Six Tampa Bay restaurants have been added to Florida’s Michelin Guide. While these places haven’t received the coveted Michelin Star (yet), these eateries represent the diverse cuisines in the Tampa area and are considered places worth traveling to. The new additions are The Pearl, Kōsen, EBBE, Streetlight Taco, Predalina and Supernatural Food & Wine.
St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport To Expand
This spring, St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport will begin a $110 million expansion after welcoming 2.5 million travelers last year, an incredible feat for a regional airport. The expansion will allow the airport to welcome additional airlines, offer more routes, build a second level for passenger boarding, support new vendors and provide additional gates for departure.
The Vinoy Is One Of The Most Romantic Hotels In America
At nearly 100 years old, The Vinoy Resort & Golf Club has been named one of the most romantic hotels in America. The honor was bestowed on the St. Petersburg hotel by The Historic Hotels of America, part of the National Trust for Historic Preservation. The charming and dreamy hotel is one of two in the state to make the list.
Super Bowl Touchdown For Usf Alumnus
St. Petersburg native Marquez Valdes-Scantling made history as the first University of South Florida alumni to score a touchdown in the Super Bowl. Valdes-Scantling, who is a wide receiver for the Kansas City Chiefs, recorded three 30-yard receptions and a touchdown during the Super Bowl game against the San Francisco 49ers.
Two Tampa Bay Restaurants In Yelp’s Top 100 Restaurants In The Us
The popular local business review site Yelp released its annual Top 100 Restaurants in the US list for 2024. Members of the Yelp community submit nominations each year for their favorite eateries across the country and two area establishments, Mio’s Grill and Cafe in St. Petersburg and Bayshore Mediterranean Grill in Tampa, made the cut. Mio’s serves traditional Greek and Turkish bites. Bayshore focuses on Turkish cuisine.
