She is the voice, but now Charlotte Perrelli records her version of You’re the Voice, Aussie star John Farnham’s 1986 worldwide hit. The single follows Eurovision winner Charlotte’s previous release, a version of Amy Winehouse’s Love is a Losing Game.

Whilst the singer is yet to announce full details of the upcoming orchestral covers album – including release date or full tracklist, it is expected to hit at some point in 2023. Charlotte’s version of the track is released through Warner Music Sweden and sees her collaborate with producer Mattias Bylund on the rousing new version with the chanteuse’s pristine vocal shine against the elegant orchestral backing.

The Swedish singer shared: “The text feels more topical than ever – to stand up for yourself and fight against all odds. If you want something done then go and make your voice heard. Hope it can inspire you as it inspires me.”

Charlotte has gained legions of fans across Europe thanks to her schlager bangers including Take Me to Your Heaven, Hero, The Girl and Still Young.
