Charlotte Museum of History: Bring food donation, get 25% off admission the rest of the year – Charlotte On The Cheap

Charlotte Museum of History, 3500 Shamrock Drive, Charlotte, North Carolina, announced on Facebook that through December 31, 2025, if you bring in food donations you can get a discount on museum admission.

Bring in three or more shelf-stable items to support local families and you’ll get 25% off museum admission for the rest of 2025. Donations will go to Second Harvest Food Bank. No glass or perishables, please.

Admission

Admission before the discount is:

  • Adults: $12
  • Seniors (62), children (4-17), and students: $9
  • Veterans: $7
  • Children (0-3): Free
  • Museum members: Free
  • With SNAP/EBT card: Free (according to Facebook post)
