EASTHAMPTON, Mass. (WWLP) – Easthampton is hosting a series of events to celebrate ‘Halfway to St. Patrick’s Day’, including a celebrity bartending fundraiser at Amy’s Place.
The fundraiser at Amy’s Place in Easthampton featured State Senator John Velis and State Representative Homar Gomez as celebrity bartenders.
“We’re so excited. Looking back to where we were in 2020 and 2021, I’m not sure if we would still have a committee coming out of COVID. We are bigger and stronger than we have ever been, and that means a lot, a lot of it is because of the city of Easthampton,” said Andrew Covington, secretary of the Greater Easthampton Saint Patrick’s Day Parade Committee.
The free traditional Irish music session at the Abandoned Building Brewery is scheduled for September 18 from 6 to 8:30 PM.
The 73rd Holyoke St. Patrick’s Parade is scheduled for March 19th, 2023, which is a Sunday.
The ‘Halfway to St. Patrick’s Day’ events in Easthampton highlight the community’s commitment to cultural celebration and support for local initiatives. With the funds raised, the Greater Easthampton Saint Patrick’s Day Parade Committee is poised to make a strong showing in the upcoming parade season.
