With St. Patrick’s Day right around the corner, Tampa Bay is gearing up for a big weekend of festivities. From parades and activities to bar crawls and food specials, some big things are set to make this St. Paddy’s weekend a good one. So pull out that green shirt from the back of your closet and start practicing that bad Irish accent while enjoying some of these St. Paddy’s Day celebrations!

Tampa Warriors St. Patrick’s Day Run/Walk
Sunday, March 10, 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.
Gadsden Park, 6901 S MacDill Ave., Tampa

Do a 5K for St. Paddy’s Day! The Lightning Warriors, supporting disabled veterans in Tampa Bay, is putting on its second annual marathon. Participants can run or walk, and strollers are welcome at this event. Every participant that finishes the 5K gets a Tampa Warriors Challenge Coin and dog tag.

Registration for this event is $40.

Irish Grub at Hard Rock
Friday, March 15 – Sunday, March 17
Seminole Hard Rock Tampa, 5223 North Orient Road, Tampa

On St. Patrick’s Day weekend, guests at Hard Rock Cafe can enjoy Irish food favorites like Pub Cheese Crudité ($15.99) and an Irish Burger ($18.99). Can’t forget the booze! There will also be special Irish beverages such as Guinness™ Draught Stout ($9.00), Irish Coffee ($14.00) and Irish Apple Crush ($15.00).

St. Patrick’s Day Bike Night
Friday, March 15, 6 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Tampa Bay Harley-Davidson, 9841 E Adamo Drive, Tampa

Harley-Davidson is hosting its St. Patrick’s Day Friday night! With green beer, live music, vendors, a full bar and a best-of-bike night contest, this event can be enjoyed by riders and non-riders alike. Judging for the best bike starts at 8 p.m. and the winner will be announced immediately after. Check the Tampa Bay Harley-Davidson website for more event information.

Admission to this event is free.

2024 Rough Riders Pre-Parade Bash
Friday, March 15, 7 p.m. – 11 p.m.
Egypt Shriners, 5017 E Washington St., Tampa

The Rough Riders will be putting on a party Friday before the parade. Get in early for complimentary food and stay for drink specials, live music and the pub crawl. Every ticket includes two free drink tickets for the night and a free bag of goodies to celebrate with. There will also be complimentary busing from downtown Tampa through Newman Bus Lines

Tickets start at $25 online or $30 at the door.

River O’Green Fest

Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park, 600 N Ashley Drive, Tampa

It wouldn’t be St. Patrick’s Day without the River O’Green Fest, where the Hillsborough River gets turned shamrock green. Enjoy live musicians, food trucks, beers and kids activities Saturday afternoon. For the performance schedule and an interactive map of the area, click here.

2024 St. Patrick’s Parade
Saturday, March 16, 2 p.m.
Downtown Tampa

Tampa Rough Riders have moved its Parade downtown this year, giving parade attendees closer access to other events in the area. The parade route starts down Madison Street, turns onto Ashley Drive and finishes up on Polk Street (there is a map, don’t worry). Staging starts at 2 p.m. and the parade starts at 5 p.m., but be early to get a good spot!

Event admission is free.

Paddle the River Green
Saturday, March 16, 10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Urban Kai, 310 W 7th Ave., #5404, Tampa

Armature Works’s Urban Kai lets you paddleboard or kayak the green Hillsborough River. While a basic level of paddling experience is needed, Urban Kai’s St. Paddy’s celebration is open to all ages. Rent a stand-up board, single or double kayak for the morning, and make sure you register in advance to participate.

Registration starts at $45.

The Official Lucky’s St Patrick’s Day Bar Crawl
Saturday, March 16, 4 p.m. – 12 a.m.
James Joyce Irish Pub & Eatery, 1724 E 8th Ave., Tampa

A St. Patrick’s Day event list isn’t complete without some bar crawls. Start at James Joyce Irish Pub to get drink tickets, exclusive food and drink specials and an after-party when the crawl is over. The first 200 check-ins will also receive a US stadium party cup, US keychain lanyard, bottle opener and beads. Get discounts on tickets for groups of four or more!

Tickets start at $15 for groups, $20 for individuals.

St. Patrick’s Day Vehicle Show
Sunday, March 17, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
ThunderBay Bar, 4901 W Linebaugh Ave., Tampa

If motorcycles alone aren’t your speed, High Performance Promotions is hosting a vehicle show for the holiday. This contest is open to all vehicles, including UTVs, ATV, and motorcycles, but vehicles need to be registered by 1 p.m. There will also be food, music and a 50/50 drawing. 

Vehicle registration is $20.

St. Patrick’s Day Skate Party
Sunday, March 17, 1:30 pm – 7 pm
Skateworld Tampa, 7510 Paula Dr, Tampa, FL 33615

For another kid-friendly event, Skateworld is inviting Lucky the Leprechaun and the Trolls to their Saint Patrick’s Day Skate Bash. Compete in the leprechaun scavenger hunt and skating games, and try some of their green café specials for the holiday!

Admission is $11, and regular skate rentals are $5.

St. Patrick’s Day Bar Crawl
Sunday, March 17, 12 p.m. – 10 p.m.
American Social, 601 S Harbour Island Blvd. #107, Tampa

Downtown Crawlers at American Social is hosting a St. Paddy’s Day bar crawl with access to over 15 bars across three Tampa districts. Get free welcome shots at five locations, exclusive drink specials, a costume contest and free cover at all participating venues during the event. Discounted tickets are available for groups of four or more.

Tickets are $26 for individuals and $21 per person for groups.

Maloney’s

St. Patrick’s Day Brunch & Bar Crawl
Saturday, March 17, 12 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Maloney’s Irish Pub 1120 E Kennedy Blvd. #140, Tampa

Downtown Crawlers will also have its Brunch & Bar Crawl happening at other locations in Tampa Bay. Start with brunch at Maloney’s Irish Pub (or Yeoman’s in Downtown Tampa or The Patio in South Tampa) where you’ll get buffet-style brunch and bottomless mimosas from 12 p.m. – 3 p.m.. From there, you’ll have access to over 15 bars across downtown, Soho and Ybor.

Brunch tickets are $55.
