CATS bus collides with vehicle in uptown Charlotte, sending two to hospital

[ad_1]

Some people were taken to the hospital after a crash involving a bus and another vehicle in uptown Wednesday afternoon, a Charlotte Area Transit System spokesperson said in an email.

MEDIC transported two people from the scene. The crash occurred near North College Street and East 9th Street, CATS said.

Five people were evaluated for minor injuries, MEDIC said in a post at 3:21 p.m.

CATS did not immediately respond when asked if the patients were in the private vehicle, or if they were bus riders.

See something, say something

CATS has also provided riders a new way to report safety concerns when taking public transit by either texting a number or submitting a report online.

Passengers can text to 704-251-6402, submit a web form, or submit concerns through the CATS smartphone app.
