  • Fred again.. Previews New Harry Styles Song at London Show

    [ad_1]

During a Thursday night show at London’s Alexandra Palace, Fred again.. teased an unreleased Harry Styles song. Listen to a snippet of the track below.

The song, which fans have speculated is titled “Coming Up Roses,” features a clipped string arrangement and a ballad’s pace. “We sleep half the night with your head on my chest me and you,” Styles sings. “There’s only me and you.”

  • 10 Huge Franchises Paramount Controls After Warner Bros. Deal

    [ad_1]

After months of negotiations, the bidding war for Warner Bros. Discovery ended after a wild couple of hours. Paramount upped its bid, WBD declared it the “superior” offer, gave Netflix four days to up its bid, and the streaming service said “Nah, we’re good.”

And with that, Warner Bros. Discovery and all of its valuable brands and intellectual properties are soon to be under the control of Paramount Skydance, which already controls a media empire that includes networks, studios, and streamers like CBS, Paramount Pictures, Paramount+, Nickelodeon, MTV, and more. The deal takes two of the biggest media companies in the world and combines them into an even bigger conglomerate.

The merger will still need to be approved, which could take months or even years. So it might not be until 2028 or 2029 or beyond until you see, say, Tom Cruise’s Ethan Hunt join the Justice League and team up with Robert Pattinson’s Batman or David Corenswet’s Superman.

Okay, obviously, that will never happen. But after the Paramount/Warner Bros. deal is closed, it theoretically could. So, theoretically, could a visit by the Looney Tunes to South Park or Beavis and Butt-Head. That is enormously unlikely. But it is not impossible. What a weird, weird world we live in now.

Fans inevitably want to contemplate what franchises could start to migrate to Paramount in the years ahead, so here are ten of the biggest properties that are now (at least on paper) under the company’s control…

Massive Franchises That Are Now Controlled By Paramount

If Netflix successfully finalizes its deal with Warner Bros., these huge entertainment brands would all fall under the streaming giant’s control.

  • Netflix Abandons Warner Bros. Buyout, Paving Way For Paramount Takeover

    [ad_1]

Late last year, Netflix struck a deal with Warner Bros. to purchase most of the company’s assets for $82 billion. Now, Netflix has chosen to abandon that deal rather than match the higher offer made by Paramount. That paves the way for Paramount to become the new owner of Warner Bros. Discovery, pending stockholder and regulatory approval.

For the better part of two months, Warner Bros. refused to engage with Paramount, which briefly led the latter to file a lawsuit against the rival studio. Earlier this month, Netflix granted Warner Bros. a one-week period to reopen negotiations with Paramount. The Warner Bros. board subsequently decided that Paramount’s higher offer was the better deal, and Netflix declined to keep bidding.

“We believe we would have been strong stewards of Warner Bros.’ iconic brands, and that our deal would have strengthened the entertainment industry and preserved and created more production jobs in the US,” said Netflix co-CEOs Ted Sarandos and Greg Peters in a statement (via The Hollywood Reporter). But this transaction was always a ‘nice to have’ at the right price, not a ‘must have’ at any price.”

  • MGM Resorts Partnering with Flavor Flav on Las Vegas Women’s Hockey Team Bash – Casino.org

    [ad_1]

    Posted on: February 26, 2026, 07:31h.

    Last updated on: February 26, 2026, 07:58h.

    • MGM Resorts and Flavor Flav will co-host a massive Olympic celebration in Las Vegas this summer
    • The event, July 16-19, honors the women’s hockey team after they declined a White House invitation
    • A GoFundMe campaign already raised over $34,000 for direct athlete bonuses

MGM Resorts International announced on Thursday, Feb. 26, that it will serve as a “full partner” with rap star Flavor Flav in a Las Vegas celebration of the victorious U.S. women’s Olympic hockey team this summer. “She Got Game” will be a weekend-long celebration, tentatively including a parade and concert, from July 16-19.

Public Enemy hype man Flavor Flav was the spark behind an Olympic party coming to Las Vegas July 16-19. (Image: GoFundMe)

When Flav, who has lived in Sin City for decades, took to social media earlier this week to demand a “real celebration” for the team, the resort giant committed to providing more than 100 hotel rooms across its premier Las Vegas portfolio to accommodate the athletes.

“Planning is underway and details will be shared soon as we get ready to celebrate our incredible USA athletes in a way only MGM Resorts knows how: World-class hospitality, high-energy fun, and memorable experiences,” MGM wrote in a statement, indicating that women-led sports media company The GIST will also serve as an official partner.

    Cold as Ice

The alternative celebration was born out of a moment of historic success and political friction. On Feb. 19, the U.S. women’s hockey team defeated Canada 2-1 in a thrilling overtime victory in Milan. However, the victory was soon overshadowed by a public exchange involving President Donald Trump.

After the U.S. men’s team also won the gold, Trump called the men’s locker room and joked that he would “probably be impeached” if he did not also invite the women’s team to the White House.

The remark drew immediate fire from the athletes. Captain Hilary Knight appeared on SportsCenter to call the joke “distasteful and unfortunate,” noting that such comments “overshadow the amazing feats” of female athletes. (USA Hockey officially cited “academic and professional commitments” for the team’s decision to skip the State of the Union address.)

The players moved independently to accept Flav’s offer.

The corporate support, and donations, keep coming. The Palms Casino Resort pledged “over-the-top” luxury suites and fine-dining experiences to supplement MGM’s. Alaska Airlines responded to Flav’s request for travel assistance by confirming they are coordinating flights to bring the athletes to the desert.

And StubHub also responded on social media by stating it would be “happy to help with tickets to shows.”

To gift the athletes more than a fleeting weekend of hospitality, Flav also launched a GoFundMe on Thursday to provide direct financial “victory bonuses.”

Recognizing that many Olympic athletes must juggle second or third jobs to fund their training, Flav set a $50,000 goal to put cash directly in their pockets.

As of Thursday evening, more $34K has been raised from more than 600 donors.

  • We Are So Cooked Trailer Turns Hiding A Dead Body Into A Cozy Co-op Game

    [ad_1]

The trailer for We Are So Cooked, a nice, cozy co-op physics stealth game about trying to hide a dead body with your friends, dropped today after the game went viral for its premise earlier this month.  The trailer does a good job of highlighting the particular challenges of trying to stealthily remove a dead body from a busy hotel, from abundant security cameras to the body’s floppiness. The game, which comes from indie developers Dwarven Brothers, premiered its trailer on Geoff Keighley’s X account and The Game Awards Instagram.

Though the game is technically playable solo, individual players will face extra challenges. According to We Are So Cooked‘s Steam page, “dragging the body alone is slow and leaves a bloody trail,” and “You can hold an item, OR you can drag the body. You can’t do both. You’ll have to scream at your friends to open doors for you.” Co-op play doesn’t guarantee an easier path to victory, though: you’ll have to dodge security guards, dogs, and other hotel guests while trying to navigate down stairs and around corners with an awkward, heavy dead body that seems determined to slip out of your hands. You’ll have to come up with a solid plan and work together carefully to avoid dropping the body—the description warns that “if you pull left and your friend pulls right, you’re going to drop him down the stairs.”

We Are So Cooked‘s lighthearted approach to manslaughter is a nice respite from co-op games with heavier themes, like Hazelight Studios’ fun-looking but actually harrowingly grim divorce game It Takes Two. At least you and your fellow players are on the same page in this one. We Are So Cooked is set to release sometime in 2026.

  • Pink denies reports that she is separated from husband Carey Hart: ‘Not true’

    [ad_1]

Pop singer Pink says she is not separated from her husband, former pro motocross racer Carey Hart, despite reports suggesting otherwise.

People was first to report the story based on an unnamed source Thursday, under the headline, “Pink Separates from Carey Hart for Second Time After 20 Years of Marriage: Source (Exclusive).”

Shortly afterward, Pink posted a video to her official Instagram account, describing the story as “fake news, not true.”

“I was just alerted to the fact that I’m separated from my husband. I didn’t know. Thank you People Magazine. Thank you US Weekly. Thank you for letting me know,” she said in the clip. “I was wondering, would you also like to tell our children? My 14-year-old and 9-year-old are also unaware. Or do you want to talk about some real news?”

People updated its story to acknowledge the Instagram denial. Its story said Pink’s representatives declined comment, and Hart’s did not respond.

In the video, Pink listed a few current topics of conversation, including the Epstein files and the results of the 2026 Olympics, or the fact that she was nominated for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

A representative for Pink directed The Associated Press back to Pink’s Instagram video without additional comment. A representative for People did not immediately answer an email seeking comment.

Pink and Hart were married in 2006. They separated in 2008 and reunited shortly thereafter. They have two children: Willow Sage Hart, 14, and Jameson Moon Hart, 9.

    [ad_1]

Carine Tardieu’s family drama The Ties That Bind Us, based on Alice Ferney’s novel L’Intimité, beat out Richard Linklater’s Nouvelle Vague to take best film at the 51st César awards, France’s equivalent to the Oscars, held Thursday night at the Olympia theater in Paris.

The Ties That Bind Us also won for best adapted screenplay and the best supporting actress César for Vimala Pons.

Nouvelle Vague, a French-language, black-and-white deep dive into the making of Jean-Luc Godard’s 1960 classic Breathless, won best director for Linklater, as well as best cinematography (David Chambille), costume design (Pascaline Chavanne) and editing (Catherine Schwartz).

The love letter to the French New Wave cinema movement was the frontrunner going into this year’s Césars with 10 nominations. Netflix picked up Nouvelle Vague in Cannes, where it had its world premiere.

Laurent Lafitte won best actor for his turn alongside Isabelle Huppert in Thierry Khifla’s comedy drama The Richest Woman In The World, loosely based on the 2010 Bettencourt Affair. Léa Drucker took the best actress honor for her starring role in Dominik Moll’s procedural Case 137.

Stéphane Demoustier’s biographical drama The Great Arch, starring Claes Bang, picked up Césars for production design and visual effects.

Pauline Loquès’s Nino, a drama about a young man navigating a cancer diagnosis, picked up a César for best first feature and the best male newcomer prize for the film’s lead, Canadian actor Théodore Pellerin.

Ugo Bienvenu’s Oscar-nominated Arco, produced by Natalie Portman, won best animated feature and best score for Arnaud Toulon.

Paul Thomas Anderson’s Oscar frontrunner One Battle After Another took the César for best international film, beating out The Secret Agent, Black DogSirāt and Sentimental Value.

Canadian funny man Jim Carrey received this year’s honorary César for lifetime achievement. Speaking in thickly anglo-accented French, Carrey said his “great, great, great, great, great, great-grandfather, Marc-François Carré,” was born in France, in Saint Malo, some 300 years ago and emigrated to Canada. “Tonight with this magnificent honor, this square (carré in French) has come full circle,” he said.

The ceremony also paid tribute to French icon Brigitte Bardot, who died on Dec. 28, with a retrospective reel of her career highlights, including scenes from French classics And God Created Woman (1956) and Contempt (1963).

  • The Worm Moon is coming and experts say it could disrupt your sleep

    [ad_1]

There is something undeniably magical about a full moon rising. The glow feels brighter, the night air sharper, and for many of us, sleep suddenly feels just a little more elusive than usual.

This March, skywatchers will be treated to the arrival of the Worm Moon on March 3rd, traditionally marking the transition into spring in the Northern Hemisphere and accompanied this year by a rare total lunar eclipse. While the celestial event promises a spectacular sight, sleep experts warn that the beauty of a full moon may come with an unexpected downside: a restless night.

Research suggests lunar cycles can influence how well we sleep, with some studies indicating that sleep duration may decrease by as much as 30 percent during a full moon phase. Scientists have also observed that people often take longer to fall asleep, experience reduced deep sleep, and wake more frequently when the moon is at its brightest.

In other words, if you find yourself staring at the ceiling in the early hours without explanation, the moon overhead may be playing a subtle role.

    © Anadolu via Getty Images
The worm moon on Tuesday March 3 can disrupt your sleep

Why the Worm Moon can affect your sleep

The Worm Moon has long been associated with seasonal change, historically signaling warmer weather and longer daylight hours. As winter fades and evenings grow lighter, our internal body clocks naturally begin adjusting to shifting light patterns, often leading to later bedtimes and altered waking routines.

According to sleep specialists, this seasonal transition alone can influence circadian rhythms, but the brightness of a full moon introduces an additional factor.

A full moon reflects significantly more sunlight toward Earth than any other lunar phase, increasing nighttime light exposure even indoors. This matters because light directly impacts melatonin production, the hormone responsible for signaling to the brain that it is time to sleep.

Like many parents, my sleep has suffered since having kids© Getty Images
You may feel restless during the worm moon

When melatonin levels drop, falling asleep can take longer and restorative deep sleep may become harder to maintain.

Many people also report feeling unusually alert or emotionally heightened during a full moon. Experts believe this may be partly biological and partly psychological, as cultural associations with lunar cycles can heighten awareness of sleep disturbances, creating a feedback effect that makes wakefulness feel more pronounced.

Combined with seasonal clock changes that occur around early spring, the Worm Moon can subtly shift sleep patterns even in those who usually rest well.

How to protect your sleep during the Worm Moon

With the lunar event approaching, sleep expert and CEO of Happy Beds Rex Isap shares practical strategies designed to minimize disruption and support deeper rest during brighter full moon nights.

    Create a darker sleep environment

Even minimal ambient light can interfere with melatonin production. Isap explains that optimizing darkness is one of the simplest yet most effective adjustments.

“Even small amounts of light can make it harder to fall into deep sleep,” he tells HELLO! “Using blackout curtains or minimizing light entering the bedroom can help the body transition into sleep more easily.”

If you're still feeling tired after a long sleep or need to sleep more, it may be worth seeing your doctor© Getty Images
Try a few simple strategies to ensure a good night’s sleep

Closing blinds fully, reducing hallway lighting, and limiting glowing electronics can all help recreate the darkness the brain associates with nighttime rest.

Step away from screens before bed

Modern technology already challenges healthy sleep habits, and during a full moon, the impact may feel amplified.

“Technology emits blue light that tricks the brain into thinking it is still daytime,” Isap explains. “This suppresses melatonin production, and when combined with increased lunar brightness, sleep disruption can become more noticeable.”

Experts recommend establishing a technology cutoff at least one hour before bedtime, replacing late-night scrolling with calming rituals such as reading or gentle stretching to signal to the body that sleep is approaching.

Resist the urge to check the clock© Getty Images
Resist the urge to check the clock

    Keep your sleep schedule consistent

As evenings grow lighter, it can feel tempting to stay awake longer, yet fluctuating sleep and wake times can confuse the body’s internal clock.

Maintaining consistent bedtimes and morning wake-ups helps stabilize circadian rhythms and promotes deeper, more restorative sleep, particularly during seasonal transitions.

Regularity, experts say, remains one of the most powerful tools for improving sleep quality year-round.

Resist the urge to check the clock

Anyone who has woken at 3 a.m. knows how quickly anxiety can follow once the clock comes into view. Calculating lost sleep often increases stress hormones, making it even harder to drift off again.

“If you wake during the night, try not to check the time,” advises Isap. “If you’ve been awake for more than 15 to 20 minutes, engage in a calming activity such as reading until sleepiness returns.”

Removing visible clocks from bedside tables can help prevent this cycle of nighttime worry.

    Invest in a sleep-supportive environment

Comfort also plays a crucial role in how easily the body relaxes into sleep. Supportive mattresses and breathable bedding can help regulate temperature and reduce nighttime movement, both of which encourage deeper rest.

Isap recommends choosing sleep surfaces designed to promote comfort and airflow, including breathable cushion tops, gel-infused layers, or memory foam that contours gently to the body.

A calm, cool and supportive bedroom environment allows the body to make the most of sleep even during naturally disruptive lunar phases.

The sturgeon moon is an astrologically important time that can reawaken your intuition© Getty Images
The moon will be very bright on Tuesday

A gentle reminder beneath the moonlight

While the science surrounding lunar sleep disruption continues to evolve, experts agree on one reassuring point: occasional restless nights during a full moon are entirely normal.

Rather than fighting wakefulness, understanding how environmental light, seasonal change, and psychological expectation interact can help remove unnecessary anxiety around sleep fluctuations.

So when the Worm Moon rises this March, illuminating the night sky in spectacular fashion, it may be worth closing the curtains, switching off devices a little earlier, and embracing a slower evening routine.

After all, while the moon may influence our sleep, a few thoughtful adjustments can ensure its glow remains something to admire rather than blame for tomorrow morning’s fatigue.

  • Pink Denies Carey Hart Divorce Rumors: ‘It’s Fake News!’

    Reading Time: 3 minutes

UPDATE: Pink has now denied that she and Carey have separated! People magazine is rarely wrong, but the singer says this story is bogus. Read on for our original report and stay tuned for updates!

It’s the end of the road for pop icon Pink and her husband of 20 years, BMX rider Carey Hart.

Yes, the tumultuous couple — whose many ups and downs have inspired some of Pink’s biggest hits — have called it quits.

News of the split comes courtesy of a new report from People magazine, which cites unspecified sources.

This is not the first time that Pink and Carey have gone their separate ways.

Their first separation — or at least the first one that they chose to talk about publicly — took place in 2008.

“Long-term relationships are not easy. It is much easier to stay in the solid days and jump from relationship to relationship, because then you don’t have to fix the problems that keep recurring. You have to end up fixing yourself; you can’t fix the other person,” the singer told People at the time.

“So it can be challenging, and there’s good days and there’s bad days,” she continued, adding:

“I think it’s an impossible expectation for you to think that you’re going to evolve at exactly the same pace as another person in exactly the same direction.

“So it takes work to redefine what’s important. I don’t want to break up my family. That’s been my main goal, since I had a broken family. Sometimes you have to let it go. You can’t die on every mountain.”

“We’re rebuilding,” Hart told the outlet when he and Pink got back together the following year.

“Sometimes you have to take a couple of steps backwards to move forward.”

In 2023, Pink spoke to the outlet again, admitting — with the candor that her fans love — that she and Carey had experienced additional rough patches, but have chosen to make their relationship work.

“He and I are independent to a fault. That’s probably why we’ve stayed together so long, because we can live completely separately and then be together,” Pink told People at the time.

“We don’t need each other. We choose each other.”

Pink and Carey met at the 2001 Summer X Games in Philadelphia and dated off and on until he proposed in 2005.

They married in Costa Rica January 2006 and they’ve since welcomed two children.

The couple has yet to comment publicly on the split rumors — and Pink might be pouring her feelings into the best album of her career!

  • Candace Owens’ Investigative Series About Erika Kirk Is Full of Wild Conspiracy Theories – InTouch Weekly | In Touch Weekly

    [ad_1]

Candace Owens has debuted the first episode of her new investigative series, Bride of Charlie, which pushes a lot of conspiracy theories surrounding Erika Kirk and the death of her husband, Charlie Kirk.

Charlie, 31, was murdered at a public event last September, leading his wife, 37, to be named CEO of Turning Point USA. The promotion has led to Owens, 36, spouting off many theories about the days leading up to Charlie’s death, as well as Erika’s rise within Turning Point USA.

Her new series opens with her alleging “something is not right with Erika Kirk” — but ultimately fails to pinpoint what exactly she’s accusing her of.

Owens, who is not an investigative journalist, reportedly spent the 65-minute live stream seemingly nitpicking details about Erika’s public backstory, alleging discrepancies and even going as far as to claim her mother isn’t actually her real mom.

    Instagram/Erika Kirk

At one point, she reportedly shows images of Erika as a child throwing up what she believes are “Freemason hand signs.”

Owens has faced severe backlash over her decision to do an in-depth deep dive into Charlie’s widow, which essentially casts doubt on the mom of two without naming any real crime or point of guilt. On Tuesday, February 24, the right-wing influencer’s former boss, Ben Shapiro, suggested on X that Erika should sue Owens.

Meghan McCain also took to X shortly after Owens released the trailer for Bride of Charlie, calling it “Pure, unadulterated, f***ing evil.”

“Who in God’s name would put a woman whose husband was brutally assassinated in front of the entire world through this?” she wrote. “I am so upset by this, I am just so deeply sorry Erika and her family have to be put through this.”

  • Watch: CHILDREN OF BODOM Reunite In Helsinki For ALEXI LAIHO Tribute Show – Metal Injection

    [ad_1]

Members of Children Of Bodom performed the first of two special tribute concerts earlier tonight (Thursday, February 26) at Tavastia club in Helsinki, Finland.

Dubbed Children Of Bodom – A Celebration Of Music, the event brought together original bassist Henkka Seppälä, keyboardist Janne Wirman, drummer Jaska Raatikainen and early-era guitarist Alexander Kuoppala. They were joined by longtime friend Samy Elbanna of Lost Society, who stepped in to honor late guitarist/vocalist and primary songwriter Alexi Laiho.

Laiho passed away on December 29, 2020, at his home in Helsinki. His death was later confirmed to have been caused by alcohol-induced degeneration of the liver and pancreas connective tissue. He also had painkillers, opioids and insomnia medication in his system and had struggled with long-term health issues.

When the shows were first announced last October, the band said in a statement: “We want to celebrate the life’s work of our band and at the same time the musical legacy of our friend and bandmate Alexi. The gig will be played at the Tavastia club, which is important to Children Of Bodom, and at the same time, we will fulfill the long-standing wish of our fans.”

Tavastia holds historic importance for the band, having hosted key performances throughout their career. The setlist for the first night spanned the group’s catalog, delivering a 20-song retrospective:

    1. Living Dead Beat
    2. Sixpounder
    3. Bodom Beach Terror
    4. Silent Night, Bodom Night
    5. Deadnight Warrior
    6. Towards Dead End
    7. Everytime I Die
    8. Bodom After Midnight
    9. Lake Bodom
    10. Bed Of Razors
    11. Needled 24/7
    12. Angels Don’t Kill
    13. Blooddrunk
    14. Warheart
    15. Follow The Reaper
    16. Downfall
    17. Are You Dead Yet?
    18. Hate Me!
    19. Hate Crew Deathroll
    20. In Your Face

Fan-filmed footage from the concert has already surfaced online, capturing an emotional evening that paid tribute not only to Laiho‘s virtuosity but also to the enduring legacy of one of Finland’s most influential metal exports.

The second and final Children Of Bodom – A Celebration Of Music performance is set to take place at Tavastia as well, closing a heartfelt chapter in the band’s history.

  • Another of Brad Pitt’s Kids Dropped His Last Name After Reports the ‘Devastated’ Dad Saw His Other Child’s Name Change as a ‘Symbol’ of Their ‘Deeper Estrangement’

    [ad_1]

Another of Brad Pitt‘s children has dropped his last name. Maddox, Pitt’s eldest child with ex-wife Angelina Jolie, removed Pitt from his last name in the credits of his mom’s new movie, Couture, on which he served as an assistant director.

The film stars Angelina as an American film director diagnosed with breast cancer just as she arrives in France to film a video for a Paris fashion show. In the end credits, Maddox’s name was listed as Maddox Jolie instead of Maddox Jolie-Pitt. The production notes provided by journalists at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2025 also listed Maddox’s name as Maddox Jolie.

The change is a shift from Maddox’s credit in Angelina’s 2024 Netflix movie, Maria, in which she played late opera singer Maria Callas. In the credits of the film, which Maddox worked as a production assistant for, Maddox was credited with his father’s last name as Maddox Jolie-Pitt.

Maddox, 24, is Jolie and Pitt’s eldest child. His siblings include Pax, 22, Shiloh, 19, and 17-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne. Maddox isn’t the first of Brad’s children to distance themselves from him. In a Playbill for the Broadway musical The Outsiders in May 2024, which Vivienne helped Angelina produce, the twin was credited as Vivienne Jolie, instead of Vivienne Jolie-Pitt.

Pax Thien Jolie-Pitt, Shiloh Nouve Jolie-Pitt, actor Brad Pitt, Maddox Jolie Pitt, Jane Pitt and William Pitt attend the premiere of 'Unbroken' at TCL Chinese Theatre IMAX on December 15, 2014 in Hollywood, California.

In August of that same year, Essence also shared a video of Zahara introducing herself as, “My name is Zahara Marley Jolie. And [I] landed all the way from the Golden State in the city full of angels: Los Angeles, California.” That same month, news broke that Shiloh, who was born as Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt, had legally changed her name to Shiloh Jolie after she turned 18 and reached the legal age to do so. At the time, Shiloh’s attorney said that Shiloh’s name change was part of “an independent and significant decision following painful events.”

“He’s aware that Shiloh dropped his last name,” a source told People at the time of Brad’s feelings toward Shiloh’s legal name change. “The reminders that he’s lost his children, is of course not easy for Brad. He loves his children and misses them.”

A source also told Us Weekly in 2024 that Brad sees the changes as “more than a name change.” “It was a symbol of a deeper estrangement that has been brewing for years,” the insider said, with another source claiming that Brad was “finding it extremely difficult to come to terms with” the name change. The first source also added that Brad was “devastated” by the change.

  • 10 Of The Best Linen Shirt Outfits for Men | Summer Style Guide | FashionBeans

    [ad_1]

We independently evaluate all recommended products and services. Any products or services put forward appear in no particular order. if you click on links we provide, we may receive compensation.

    Summer changes the rules.

Heavy fabrics stop making sense. Structure needs to breathe. And that’s where linen earns its place. Done properly, it doesn’t look loose or careless. It looks relaxed but controlled.

The key is fit and proportion. Tailored trousers or sharp shorts underneath. Clean footwear. No excess fabric.

Here’s how to wear it like you mean it.

Luca Faloni White Linen Portofino Shirt

A navy linen blazer over a crisp white linen shirt, paired with light grey pleated trousers, feels classy without feeling heavy. The blazer sharpens the shoulders. The pleats add maturity. Brown suede loafers ground it without making it formal.

    Where to wear it:

    • Creative offices in summer
    • Afternoon weddings or garden events
    • Business travel when you need to step off a train and look ready

Luca Faloni Pale Blue Linen Portofino Shirt

A pale blue linen shirt tucked into mid-blue tailored trousers is understated but strong. Keeping everything within one colour family makes it feel deliberate. Roll the sleeves once. Leave the collar open. Let the trousers hold the shape.

Beige espadrilles keep it seasonal without trying too hard.

    Where to wear it:

    • Warm office days
    • City brunches
    • Coastal dinners on holiday

Luca Faloni Midnight Blue Portofino Shirt

A deep navy linen shirt balances rose tailored shorts far better than a lighter shade would. The darker top half anchors the colour and keeps it refined. Stick with suede loafers or minimal leather trainers.

    Where to wear it:

    • Holiday afternoons that turn into evening drinks
    • Private members’ clubs
    • Summer city breaks

Luca Faloni Sage Green Portofino Shirt

A sage green linen shirt works because it feels modern but not trend-driven. Paired with deep navy shorts, it stays clean and controlled. Neutral loafers keep the focus on the colour contrast.

The fit matters here. Nothing oversized.

    Where to wear it:

    • Gallery visits
    • Smart-casual Fridays
    • After-work drinks in warm weather

Luca Faloni Sky Blue Portofino Shirt

A sky blue linen shirt with white tailored trousers is classic for a reason. It reflects the heat, looks sharp in natural light, and always feels elevated. Dark navy loafers add enough weight to stop it feeling too soft.

    Where to wear it:

    • Resort dinners
    • Summer weddings with a relaxed dress code
    • Terrace restaurants at sunset

    Luca Faloni Lilac Portofino Shirt

A lavender linen shirt introduces colour without shouting. Dark indigo trousers keep it grounded and masculine. Add brown leather or suede accessories to pull everything together.

    Where to wear it:

    • Garden parties
    • Outdoor concerts
    • Smart weekend lunches

Luca Faloni Safari Green Portofino Shirt

Forest green linen with tan tailored shorts feels natural in the best way. These tones work especially well outdoors where linen’s texture stands out. Olive or neutral espadrilles keep it cohesive.

    Where to wear it:

    • Park gatherings
    • Countryside weekends
    • Relaxed holiday dinners

Luca Faloni Chocolate Brown Portofino Shirt

Deep chocolate linen is a strong alternative to navy. Paired with stone trousers, it feels rich and slightly unexpected. Keep the silhouette tailored so the contrast stays sharp.

A lightweight scarf works here if you’re transitioning into evening.

    Where to wear it:

    • Late afternoon events
    • Summer travel
    • Warm evening meetings

Luca Faloni Navy Blue Portofino Shirt

A saturated blue linen shirt with pale grey trousers keeps things professional without trapping heat. White leather sneakers modernise the look while keeping it crisp.

    Where to wear it:

    • Smart-casual offices
    • Informal client meetings
    • City weekends

Luca Faloni Striped Blue Portofino Shirt

A light blue linen shirt over navy tailored shorts is a reliable summer base. If you add a secondary colour, keep it subtle. The strength of this outfit is its restraint.

    Where to wear it:

    • Sporting events
    • Coastal walks
    • Casual summer gatherings

    Why Linen Works

Old money style isn’t about excess. It’s about control.

The shirt should skim the body.

    The sleeves should roll cleanly.

The trousers should hold their line.

Get those right and linen does the rest.

    It keeps you cool.

    It keeps you sharp.

And it always looks like you planned it.

  • The Princess in Monochromatic Ensemble for Wales Engagements

    [ad_1]

The Princess chose a monochromatic look today as she and Prince William visited Wales ahead of St. David’s Day on March 1.

The royals’ engagements were in Powys, the county with the highest per capita number of volunteers in the UK. They both wore daffodils on their lapels, the national flower of Wales.

The Prince and Princess started their day at the Hanging Gardens, a community project in Llanidloes, a town in Mid Wales. It is described as “a vibrant hub for sustainable living, artistic expression, and shared experiences through their café, performing arts centre, indoor market, community garden, kitchens, and workshops.”

The couple spent time with volunteers and took part in workshops at the center.

Here you see them making signs for St. David’s Day, which honors the patron saint of Wales.

In this image, 21-year-old Ollie Jones is making a hook for the gardens.

That activity was part of a welding masterclass at the forge.

They met nursery-age children at the forge and saw the Welsh flags they colored.

The royals also visited the kitchen, where traditional Welsh cakes were being made for St. David’s Day. The BBC reports, “While in the kitchen, Catherine spoke about the importance of The Hanging Gardens and described places like it as ‘a lifeline to so many people in the community.’”

The Prince and Princess spent time in the café.

We learn more from this Telegraph story by Hannah Furness.

The Princess pretended to be frightened as a three-year-old called Joseph roared at her. She later gently tempted seven-month-old baby Arthur away from chewing his mother’s business card.

Meanwhile, Prince William asked for recommendations to add to his playlist of Welsh songs, as well as advice on which new Welsh musicians to look out for.

He also tried a glass of locally made cider, saying: “If I’m offered a glass of cider, I’m having a glass of cider”, while the Princess sampled a “pomorange” juice made from pomegranate and orange.

And they listened to a children’s choir singing Welsh songs at the facility’s performing arts center.

They greeted well-wishers gathered outside the Hanging Gardens.

We return to the Telegraph article

But, as it started raining, the Prince asked his team for time to do it sooner, as the rain fell and the Princess made a dash over to a group of young children who were soaked through and looked cold.

“I’m so sorry,” he said repeatedly, joking that they “usually brought the sunshine” but had failed today.

From what I could read written on the back of the card/picture, I’m guessing this is 7-year-old Connie Jones.

Here is a closer look at the back of the picture that the little girl handed the Princess.

We have more coverage from this Powys County Times piece.

This was due to be the end of their visit but after getting into their vehicle and being driven for a short period, William and Kate stepped out to meet cheering crowds who had gathered. They each held a black umbrella and spent 25 minutes in heavy rain, chatting to well-wishers including children who handed them bunches of flowers and pictures they had drawn.

Here you see some of the signs the children made.

    A wide shot.

    And from The Telegraph’s story

Locals were heard to exclaim as they realised their wait had not been in vain. “Oh, I really hope they stop, they [the children] are all soaking,” said one woman. “Oh, they are! Oh my goodness! This is just wonderful.”

The Prince and Princess split up to cover each side of the road.

When one little boy in a blue dinosaur coat told him he was waiting for the Princess, the Prince took off to find her for him.

“Aww, thank you!” said the Princess when she saw him, crouching down. “Very nice to meet you, these are lovely flowers, aren’t they? I love daffodils. Did you get very wet? Thank you for coming to meet us.”

The Telegraph piece also notes the Princess said, “thank goodness someone had reminded me” to bring an umbrella.”

The Princess played “Rock, Paper, Scissors” in the rain. The Telegraph shared a brief video online.

    This People piece has details.

…the Princess of Wales eagerly played the children’s classic with two young boys during a walkabout in the downpour.

“Let’s do it again. Rock, paper, scissors, shoot. Aw!” Princess Kate expertly said, as the first young boy’s “paper” gesture topped the “rock” she made with her hand.

The royal mom of three then turned to the second youngster, and they played three speedy rounds, before his “rock” beat her “scissors.”

The next stop for the royals was Oriel Davies, a contemporary art gallery in Newtown.

A news release notes they saw “…a project funded by the Alexandra Reinhardt Memorial Award, focused on supporting the well-being of the children and young people in the local area. Regular creative workshops led by artist Nicky Arscott encouraged social connections and built confidence, through connection to nature and a celebration of cultures and community cohesion.”

Here you see the royals in the gallery’s café.

While at the gallery, the Princess received a special gift.

It was a beaded necklace made during a workshop at the gallery by a 7-year-old.

Kensington Palace posted a video on social media saying, “Thank you for the necklace!”

Here you can see the Princess wearing her gift.

The Princess met young fans upon her arrival at the gallery.

They had some lovely flowers for the Princess.

The pair’s final stop today was at Hafan yr Afon, “a hub for culture, community, and heritage located in Newtown, Powys.”

The hub is run by Open Newtown, a community land trust and social enterprise that also manages 100 acres of local parkland.

The Princess spoke with mothers at the center. We learn more via a County Times article

Kate spent time with members of Mums Matter, a perinatal service for women who are experiencing mental health problems linked to early motherhood. Ella Hopkins, 25, told the princess how she started volunteering with the service after fleeing domestic violence with her 10-month-old son Marcus.

She said: “The princess was absolutely incredible, you could tell she was really passionate about the cause as well. She got really invested, she was asking lots of questions, you could tell she thought it was an important thing to be focusing on. She definitely said that it’s something that she said felt passionate about, parents being able to be committed and devoted through their own stability.”

The Prince and Princess spoke with well-wishers gathered outside Hafan yr Afon.

Now we turn to our look at what Kate wore today. She brought back a coat designed by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen.

The bespoke piece was first worn during the December 2024 Qatar State Visit.

The Princess repeated her ME + EM AM/PM Sleeveless Top and Scarf (originally $345, $241 on sale) in ‘deep ruby red’ silk, a piece we initially saw in January during an engagement at Charing Cross Hospital. She paired the top with her CO Pleated Skirt, first worn at a 2022 rugby match, in the color “cabernet.”

The Princess brought back her Rhymes Leather Boots by Gianvito Rossi ($847) in ‘Merlot.’ The boots are all-leather with a 3.3″ heel and a pointed toe; they were first worn at the welcoming ceremony for the Qatar state visit in December 2024.

And we saw the return of the Kiki McDonough Cushion Citrine Detachable Drops (£1400, roughly $1900 at today’s exchange rates) and what could be the Gold Hoops (£1400), though I think the Princess’s hoops look more tapered than this pair.

I will leave you with one more photo from today.
