Case involving alleged shopping centre voyeurism adjourned again

The case of Patrick Mulligan (59) was discussed at Enniskillen Magistrate’s Court today (Monday).

Mulligan is charged with observing a boy carrying out a private act for sexual gratification.

The offending is alleged to have occurred on December 30, 2024 at Erneside Shopping Centre.

At the short hearing today, the court heard how medical reports were still outstanding.

Calling for progress, District Judge, Alana McSorley, ordered that the case is returned to on Monday, January 19.

Numerous delays have been experienced in the case. In August, the court heard how there was difficulty in obtaining a “capacity assessment” from Mulligan’s GP surgery.

At this point, District Judge Brian Archer called for progress, saying: “I ask this practice to consider that a court case held up by non-production of records; I understand they are under pressure, but it is important that we bring this case to fruition.”
