Caesars Diamond No Longer Available Through Founderscard

The Founderscard is a membership card that is quite costly, but it also offers some valuable benefits. But one of those benefits, complimentary Diamond status with Caesars Rewards, is no longer available.

Miles to Memories reports that the Caesars Diamond benefit has been removed from the Founderscard site. This was also confirmed by a Founderscard rep:

I’m sorry to report that the Caesars benefit is no longer active unfortunately. We have just removed it from our site, and we are actively working on a replacement for this benefit. I’m so sorry for any disappointment. We have been working with Caesars for about a decade so this was not expected, otherwise we wouldn’t have told you just a few days ago that we could get your status corrected

We do have about 500 other benefits of Membership as well that I hope you will take advantage of.

If you have any other questions about this please don’t hesitate to let me know.

Caesars Rewards’ membership year resets on February 1. So most Founderscard members were already given Diamond status for this year. That same rep says that if you had an upgrade request already in process before the benefit was removed, then they will process it.

Guru’s Wrap-up

This is bad new for Founderscard members who lose one of the main benefits. It remains to be seen whether the Caesars Rewards Diamond status earned through Founderscard will last through the whole membership year, now that the partnership has ended.

Another way to get Caesars Diamond is by applying for the Wyndham Business Earner card which gets you Wyndham Diamond status. This is considered as earned status by Caesars and it gets you Caesars Diamond. And Miles to Memories reports rumors that “status with this card will no longer be eligible for the match to Caesars Diamond”. That would be a big blow to many who have relied on this shortcut.

In fact many people are still waiting for a Wyndham to Caesars match since February 1st. These matches usually take a while, but this seems longer than usual. Hopefully that’s not a sign of this rumor being true.
